With so many to choose from, it can be hard to decide which to visit. Check out our list below of some to consider visiting for fresh baked goods.

1. Patsy's and Son Italian Bakery, Lindenhurst: Known for their rainbow cookies, Patsy’s and Son Italian Bakery has operated out of Lindenhurst Village for more than 60 years. The family owned and operated bakery specializes in fine Italian pastries and cookies and freshly baked bread, as well as pre-made and custom cake orders. 2. Dortoni Bakery and Pastry Shoppe, Levittown: For more than 40 years, Dortoni Bakery and Pastry Shoppe has provided Long Island pastry lovers with its high-quality European tortes, Italian pastries, fresh breads, classic American desserts and specialty cakes. It still operates at its original location that opened in 1976, with an extension of itself at its more recent Commack location.

Everything at Dortoni Bakery is baked on premises with fresh ingredients, and bread is baked fresh daily. It offers everything from traditional Italian pastries and beloved American desserts, to an assortment of gluten free treats, to specialty cakes and catering options for all occasions.

3. Capri Bakery, Seaford: The Iccari family has operated Capri Bakery on Long Island for the past 11 years, expanding its years of experience in authentic Italian baking from Queens to Seaford. The bakery provides fresh goods baked daily including handmade breads, cookies, pastries, custom cakes, pies, and more.

Capri Bakery also offers custom cakes including Italian specialty cakes and other popular flavors, as well as specialty pastries, cookies, pies and more for any occasion.

4. Alpine Pastry Shoppe, Smithtown: Alpine Pastry Shoppe has been run by the Cuccia family out of Smithtown for over 25 years, though their baking experience predated their Smithtown storefront.

The shop boasts an assortment of baked goods including breads and buns, a variety of cookies and pastries, cupcakes and cake pops, party trays, holiday specialties, wedding cakes, and specialty cakes for all occasions.
